The company’s new range of wireless thermostats offer 5/2 and 7 day programming, easily selected in the software by the customer. Optimum start, an energy saving feature that calculates the amount of heat up time required to ensure your home is warm when you wake and return home from work, is standard on the programmable models. Other features such as battery indicator, child lock, temperature hold and holiday facility are included.

A key benefit of their 8 zone wireless wiring centre (UH1-W) is the ability to control underfloor heating or radiators on the same system. The radiator zones will not enable the UFH pump, valve or boiler.

An external aerial is also available to cover installations where the UH1-W is mounted in a metal cupboard and a repeater can be used to extend the communication distance.

The Heatmiser PRT-E floor heating thermostat has become a firm favourite amonst floor heating installers and wholesalers.

Floor heating has become ever more popular as a method of heating in extensions and conservatories. The floor heating system is one part of the installation – selecting a good floor heating thermostat is vital!

The Heatmiser PRT-E floor thermostat is supplied with a 3 meter floor sensor probe, used to prevent the floor surface from overheating.

There are many additional features in the PRT-E floor heating thermostat, not usually found in other thermostats.  These include, the ability to select whether you want the thermostat to operate as a non programmable or programmable model.  You can also select whether the thermostat will work in 5/2 or 7 day mode. What’s more, the user can select whether the thermostat will monitor the air temperature from the built in sensor or via an optional remote air sensor (so you hide the thermostat if you like)
